Marijuana Industry Trade Association Spotlights Professional Women of the Arizona Cannabis Industry Part II on July 30th
PHOENIX, Ariz. (July 28, 2020) – Marijuana Industry Trade Association (MITA-AZ) will host the part two of its Spotlighting Women of Cannabis series, where top Arizona professionals will share their experiences and journey at a virtual town hall meeting slated from 4 – 6 p.m., Thursday, July 30th. The public is invited to attend. Admission is free.
Panelists include: Holly Cottrell of Sevenpoint Interiors, Lezli Engelking of FOCUS, Janet Jackim of Zuber Lawler & Del Duca LLP, Dr. Hope Jones of Emergent Cannabis Services, Sonia Martinez of the Law Office of Sonia Martinez, Staci Scholl of The Link & Company and Shango Cannabis, Danielle Sedgwick of Jayd Agency, Marvina Thomas of 420 Skin Care, and Carmen Toma of Hippie Chicks.
The panel will be moderated by Demitri Downing, founder of MITA-AZ and PolicyQuake. Panelists will be answering questions from the public.
MITA-AZ is the largest cannabis networking organization in Arizona. The group hosted its first Women of Cannabis virtual event on June 18th, bringing together 12 industry powerhouses with hundreds of attendees participating from Arizona and other states across the country.
“Our Women of Cannabis series provides an insightful look into the entrepreneurial journeys of some of the top leaders in Arizona. We see these networking events as another means of furthering the women supporting women movement through future mentorship and career opportunities,” stated Downing.
The influential organization unites cannabis license holders, industry professionals, investors, stakeholders, and policy makers from around the country to educate and advocate for smart, regulated, responsible cannabis policy.
